This was a relatively short story with a neat twisted ending. It was a free download, which was good because it only took me like 10 minutes to read it. But it was a fun 10 minutes. I got a laugh out of the resolution and that's always good. So - I give this story my recommendation.

Easter Bunny meets up with SC, Santa Claus and they go through some
things of their own holiday celebration.
Bunny asks about his schemes to get kids to ask for what he wants to
make them, tinsel tax, and kickbacks.
Really a story of how the chocolate Easter Bunny become hollow.
A HOLIDAY EXPLAINED is a whimsically fun revelation of Santa's trade secrets as coaxed by The Easter Bunny. Parents, grab some eggnog and enjoy, but don't let the kiddies read this one!

If you are into macabre humour, you have to read "A Holiday Explained". You just have to read about how Santa gets the presents delivered and how the Easter Bunny became hollow. "A Holiday Explained" is a wonderfully funny and well-written short story – all of three pages long. Well done Mr. York.
Reading this to your kids should be no problem. Kids tend to like the gross and macabre – at least that is what my experience has taught me.
Santa's secrets are all coming out! But at what price? Maybe we won't love some holiday traditions quite as dearly after this short, yet thought provoking read.
This is a very short story featuring Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny that isn't nearly as funny as I suspect the author thinks it is.
"A Holiday Explained" by J. Steven York, is just what it says it is a short story. But in fact, it explains mysteries from TWO holidays! First, how does Santa get down all those chimneys? Next, why are chocolate Easter bunnies hollow?
You will be amazed and astounded at the scientific research that went into... oh, wait. I'm thinking of a different book.
THIS book is just a fun look at one rather outrageous possibility that would answer both those questions listed above. It's only a few pages - 3, to be exact - so don't get upset because you were expecting a novel. I've warned you, and the author, J. Steven York, also warned you, so once again I'll say it this is a SHORT STORY!
I may sound like I'm overdoing it, but I can't believe how many reviews I've seen where somebody slams an author because a CLEARLY MARKED SHORT STORY was not what the reader expected. Somehow he/she read "short story" and thought "novel", and it just doesn't work that way. So, for a fun and definitely different SHORT STORY, get yourself a copy of "A Holiday Explained". Then, when your children ask you "how does Santa get down the chimbley?" (I'm assuming your child will say "chimbley" rather than "chimney". If not, I apologize.), you will actually be able to answer the question!
As for the Easter bunny, I realize they are more likely to say, "Hey, somebody ate the ears off my bunny!" than they are to ask why the bunny is hollow, but if they DO ask about the hollowness of the poor earless bunny, you'll be able to answer THAT question, too!
What a deal! How can you go wrong?
